Jennie Mason Taylor, 55, of Drexel, died Friday September 16, 2005, at her residence following a period of declining health.   

Jennie was born on July 22, 1950, to the late Mahlon Vincent Taylor, Jr. and Etta Hemmingway Taylor. She formerly worked for Microsoft in Charlotte, with the Burke County Friends for Animals, and at the First Presbyterian Church in Morganton.  

Survivors include her husband, Scott Swabsky; three half sisters, Mimi Teghtsoonian of Mass., Tekla Taylor Lagway of Ohio, and Pat Taylor of Washington, DC; and one half brother, Vincent Taylor of California.  

To Jennie’s friends and family who gave their support, love, and caring throughout her illness, the family extends their sincere heartfelt gratitude.
